Associate Professor Robert Philips
Associate Professor Robert Philips (BSc, MB BCh, DMRD, FRCR, DDU, FRANZCR) is a Senior Staff Radiologist at Prince of Wales Hospital and a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales. After graduating in medicine, he trained in radiology at King’s College Hospital and University College Hospital in London, and at the Mayo Clinic. He was Associate Director of the Radiology Department of Prince Henry and Prince of Wales Hospitals from 1981 to 1998 and Director of the Department of Medical Imaging at POWH from 1998 to 2009. His major radiological interests are chest and abdominal imaging and for a number of years he was an examiner for the RANZCR in those areas.
